Featured in Conde Nast Traveller: The Safari Wellness Renaissance
We are honoured to be featured in the March 2026 issue of Condé Nast Traveller, as part of their annual Wellness & Spa Guide. Writer Charlotte Sinclair spent time at Enasoit Camp and explored what she calls the "safari wellness renaissance" sweeping across Africa.
The feature places Wildlife & Yoga at the forefront of a new movement in safari travel, one that goes beyond traditional game drives to offer guests a deeper, more intentional connection with the natural world. Charlotte joined us at Enasoit for a week of yoga, silent walks, bush breakfasts, and wildlife encounters that unfolded at nature’s own pace.
Sinclair describes the experience of practising yoga nidra beside a log fire while rain fell on the thatched roof, then walking in silence through the plains past grazing zebra and impala, guided by Maasai guide Zippy. She writes of cortisol dropping while watching elephants, buffalo, and weaver birds from the tent deck, and of thoughts drifting into what she beautifully calls "the territory of magical thinking."
The article captures what makes Enasoit so special: the exclusive use, the freedom of no fixed schedule, the 4,000 private acres where you’ll never see another vehicle. Morning vinyasa after bush breakfasts to open up the body. Afternoons of horse riding, massage, or simply watching elephants at the waterhole. Evening yin yoga followed by sundowners on a nearby kopje.
The closing scene of the piece finds us in our final vinyasa session at the waterhole, a dozen giraffes gathering as we hold warrior two. It's the kind of moment that can't be planned, only allowed to happen when you slow down enough for the wild to meet you where you are.
Wildlife & Yoga is proud to be recognised alongside pioneering lodges across Africa for this new chapter in safari travel.
Thank you, Charlotte, and the team at Conde Nast Traveller, for telling our story so beautifully.
