Yoga Safaris at Enasoit
An exclusive-use camp on 4,500 private acres at the foot of the Lolldaiga Hills. The whole camp is yours.
Enasoit
The camp I come back to most
Enasoit sits on a private reserve on the Laikipia Plateau, part of a wildlife corridor where elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and giraffe move through. Only one group stays at a time, so the guides, the horses, the pool and the kitchen are all yours for the week.
There are six double cottages, two family rooms and two pool-side cottages, each looking out over the plains. Days start with Yoga by the waterhole, then a game drive, a ride or a cycle. Afternoons are for the pool, a massage or the gym, and evenings end with a sundowner on the rocks and dinner by the fire.
How to get there: fly into Nairobi, spend a night in Karen to land softly, then take a private charter flight straight to the Enasoit airstrip.
The best moment is usually unplanned. On one retreat, a leopard was already sitting on the rock I'd chosen for Yoga, so we watched him and found another spot.
